The Jackson Transit Authority (JTA) is a public transportation system in the city of Jackson, Mississippi. JTA serves many routes. JTA also flies passengers to and from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. JTA has many bus stops, including shelters and stations. All of these facilities work together to help JTA achieve its public transportation goals.
JTA uses a trip planning system for those who want to use public transport in the city. However, passengers sometimes complain that JTA buses are too busy or slow during peak hours. This is due to the volume of people getting on and off Jackson buses at that time.
